Amélie bows:

French bows in three sets in the first round of the tournament in Rome.

Amélie has not had the time she hoped to be able to prepare and enter the tournament under the conditions expected. Scheduled today, Sunday, she was beaten by Martinez Sanchez 4-6, 7-6, 6-2. The Spaniard thus deprived France of a duel 100% light in the second round, she will meet Marion Bartoli.
