Ready For Grass
The French number one resumed training since yesterday in order to find her game on the English grass.
Amelie: " It feels great to start training again and to play on grass.This is a surface that I like a lot because it suits my game.This reminds me in addition of great memories of which my victory at Wimbledon last year." The Frenchwoman will rotate between tennis practices and active treatments so as to prevent any risks of injuries in her groin which had caused trouble for her in the past few weeks.Within practice sessions,Amelie yesterday flew to London to unveil the Reebok outfit she'll be wearing at Wimbledon.

Amélie s'envole Mardi pour Eastbourne afin de commencer sa préparation sur gazon.
Depuis sa première échographie, Amélie va mieux. Elle n'a pas stoppé son activité physique avec des scéances de travail accès sur le haut du corps en compagnie de Xavier Moreau et des soins au quotidien. Amélie partira Mardi en direction d'Easbourne pour retrouver ses marques sur gazon.

Since her first echography, Amélie goes better. She did not stop her physical activity with scéances of work access on the top of the body in company of Xavier Moreau and of the daily care. Amélie will leave Tuesday in direction Easbourne to find her marks on grass.

After suffering a slight groin injury last week at Roland Garros, Amelie Mauresmo’s condition is now improving. Her trainer Xavier Moreau says he is more confident about her fitness with only two weeks to go before Wimbledon starts. “Amelie is doing better," said Moreau. "She has resumed her training for the grass court season and she is receiving daily treatment for her groin problems, as she is doing rehabilitation and reinforcement in this area of her body which has a tendency to be a little fragile. I can tell you that she is eager to go to England. Her participation in Eastbourne is not certain yet however. The priority is to have her groin problem completely healed. We should know more on Monday as we are meeting with her doctor for a diagnosis.”

Following her loss at Roland Garros,Amelie had to undergo a scan yesterday...
Yesterday Amelie had to undergo a scan that revealed a 2cm tear in her adductors. Amelie:" From the second game of the match against Safarova, a sharp pain forced me to call the doctor and the physio on the court." Amelie will undergo daily care.She hopes to start training again as soon as possible and keep the same schedule. A follow-up exam is scheduled for midweek. Will keep you posted.

Suite à son élimination des internationaux de France Samedi, Amélie a dû passer hier une échographie...
Amélie a du passer hier une échographie qui a révélé une déchirure aux adducteurs de 2 cm. Amélie : " Dès le 2ème jeu de mon match face à Safarova, une douleur très vive m’a obligée a faire appel au doc et à la kiné sur le court. " Amélie devra effectuer des soins quotidiens. Elle espère reprendre la raquette le plus rapidement possible et garder son programme initial. Un examen de contrôle est prévu en milieu de semaine. Nous vous tiendrons informé.
