No surprises for the semis of this Fed Cup tie in Italy.On Saturday,Tatiana Golovin will start against Tathiana Garbin whereas Amelie will try to get rid of Francesca Schiavone. The roles will be reversed as soon as Sunday while Nathalie Dechy et Severine Bremond will be ready to play doubles if necessary against Mara Santangelo and Roberta Vinci. Amelie: "We're expecting tough competition,the public will play an important role certainly but we're all very well prepared ".

If, as Barbie is worrying, Golovin cannot overcome her opponent it will be down to Amelie which is extra pressure for her.

No really, I can't root for France when they play against Italy. In Rimini two years ago I was rooting for Italy, too. Sometimes I clapped Momo's great shots (with people looking at me weird), but it was that. On the other hand the Italian Momo fan club were all rooting for France :P
(But think about it: what other nations are able to have amongst their best, players like Francesca and Haventaclue... LOL. We rock.)
(And Tax, too! That's another human case.)

I don't wanna jinx anyone, but I think there's a high chance they'll go to the deciding rubber. Of course I hope Italy will win earlier, but I don't see Tax beating Mauresmo. And it's not granted Fran will beat Tatiana, too :P

Why is Amelix playing after having rotten form and an operation and on top of saying she would prefer to take a back seat and let the younger generation step up?
